Simple Subject and predicate help!?

Underline the simple subject once, and the simple predicate twice.

1. Nobody would believe such a story.

2. Over the years Steven has worked at several jobs.

3. Fountain pens are not very common.

4. My best friends will visit me in the hospital.

5. The senator gave a rousing speech at the convention.

6. The huge silver airplane landed at the airport.

7. The new weather forecaster predicted rain for the weekend.

8. The new chef served delicious ham sandwiches for lunch.

9. The football fans cheered wildly.

10. A single yellow crocus peeped from under the snow.

Simple Subject and predicate help!?
I can give you some guidance on this. The simple subject is the noun that is "doing" the action or that the sentence is mostly about. The predicate is the verb and the rest of the sentence after that.
