Reply:The verse is both beautifully economical, and I like the diminishing syllables per line. I am not entirely happy about 'Hocus Pocus !', though. The phrase carries suggestions not of magic, which might well be appropriate, but of trickery and trumpery imposture. And I'm pretty sure that isn't what you mean.
The verses remind me of Herrick at his most succinct but I do have problems with 'Hocus Pocus !'

Reply:Getting up late this morning!!! A Crocus ..hummm! I am wondering if it is a Spring Crocus or a Autumn Crocus. They are really pretty, pretty colors.. white, yellow,pink, purple. The Autumn Crocus has a cup shaped flower like a true Spring Crocus. They are about 4 inch flower. They are pretty aren't they? They remind me of little tulips. I don't know, is my answer right or am I way off????????
